Sadly during the Corona Virus Lockdown, Time Capsule Education are not able to get to schools for Creative Writing Adventures or Whole School Writing Days. But we are not just sitting around waiting for schools to start again, we want to help out schools and families as much as we can during this strange time.
So we have created a free to use video service on YouTube called: Time Capsule Tv – Story Chest. On our channel you will find Bedtime Stories for younger viewers, and some of our favourite stories for older viewers too. They are presented by a variety of readers not just the Time Capsule Education team. Just click on the Story Chest below to find our channel, and to start to enjoy a bedtime story or two.
We are also continuing to help develop creative writing while the children are at home. Story Chest also has a series of videos that aim to help with improving KS2 writing. There are Writing Tips videos which can be applied to most kinds of writing and could be used by anyone with school writing activities to complete
There is also a Locked Down Writing Project which builds over several videos that look at helping the children to write a fantasy story. Again this is a FREE resource.
