TCTV is a multimedia-rich inclusive and accessible digital learning platform.
Launched in September 2023 by Time Capsule Video, originally TCTV was intended to be a Primary Schools’ streamable TV channel. We had recognised that every classroom in the UK has access to high quality multimedia equipment but what was lacking was quality and modern TV content to watch on it. Not anymore…
TCTV provides high quality, safe, contemporary educational TV programmes created to support the curriculum in the United Kingdom and beyond.
TCTV won a Kids’ Choice Award at BETT 2024 and since then the platform has expanded beyond just TV. It now offers a raft of digital resources to support the TV content. There are E-books which can be read on an unlimited number of devices at anytime and fantastic downloadable teacher packs that allow teachers to build on the engagement that the TV programmes generate.
TCTV is made by teachers for teachers. Our writers are all primary teachers with decades of teaching experience. All of our programmes are produced by TCTV and specifically created for the Education sector.
TCTV provides a variety of educational programming, to cover the primary age range from EYFS to Year 6. Most of our content will be found under one of three core programming banners, as follows:

SEND Support
At Time Capsule Video we are passionate about making our platform as accessible as possible. All of our streamable TV programmes have dyslexic friendly subtitles whihc make them great for children learning to read and children who have EAL.
Our TV programmes are calm and paced suitably for children with sensory needs. Learners are ready to learn at the end of watching a programme not over stimulated.

Pricing Plans
In these challenging times for schools and school budgets we have made TCTV an affordable service. A school’s subscription is worked out at £50 per class (+VAT)
This means that a two form entry primary school (14 classes, R -Y6) will pay £700 (+VAT) for the school. For a small country school with split year groups this means this resource will still be very affordable; a three class school with several year groups in each class will only pay £150 (+VAT) a year for its TV subscription.
This subcription give access to all of the streamable TV series on the platform AND access to all of the digital resources – Ebooks and downloadable teacher resources.
You do not need to wait for your SLT to make a decision about using TCTV in school. TCTV also offer personal subscriptions which are available at the monthly rate of £8 or an annual payment of £80.
We are not only aiming this channel at schools and teachers, we believe this channel is great for educators in alternative settings aswell. TCTV programmes are an ideal resource to support learners at home. Home Educators, Personal Tutors and interested families are invited to have a personal account at the £8 per month rate as well.
